Production Of Neutral Silica Sol

There are various methods for preparing neutral silica sols, mainly including the sol-gel method, microemulsion method, ion exchange method, and traditional template method.

Using inorganic ceramic membrane concentration technology, compared with traditional processes, the silica concentration can be increased by up to 40% while reducing metal ion residue. This technology features high stability and high separation efficiency. Key control parameters include reaction temperature (85±2℃), stirring rate (200-300rpm), and aging time (48-72 hours), with colloidal stability optimized through zeta potential control. Through industry-academia-research collaboration, a particle size classification control system can be developed to produce products with different specifications from 3-160nm. The industry can produce various types of silica sol products, including specifications with different particle sizes, ion types, and purities.

Furthermore, neutral silica sol products produced through high-purity organosilane synthesis processes have lower metal impurity content, longer shelf life, and can be customized with different silica contents and particle sizes according to requirements.
