Neutral silica sol possesses the characteristic of uniform dispersion of nano-sized silica particles. Its colloidal particles consist of a core, an adsorption layer, and a diffusion layer, forming a unique double-layer structure, which is crucial for maintaining its suspension stability.
Particle size distribution covers 8-160nm, with high-end products having achieved stable mass production technology below 10nm. Key technical indicators include silica content of 20%-40%, Na₂O content ≤0.2%, viscosity <10mPa·s, and density (20℃) typically between 1.12-1.21 g/cm³ (varying with SiO₂ content). Some products can achieve viscosity as low as 1-5 mPa·s, and pH value is precisely controlled within the 6.0-8.5 range to meet the needs of sensitive industries. Particle size control technology achieves an accuracy of ±1nm (small particle size) to ±5nm (large particle size), and the supporting ISO9001/14001 certified production system has an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons. Neutral silica sol also possesses properties such as high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance.
